Washingtons crop of nonprofit recruiters saw a robust year in 2007, with growing demand and placements in top trade groups and mission-driven organizations. In top-tier recruitment firms, new business came from organizations looking for a new CEO. Increasingly, trade associations also hired firms to secure senior management for their organizations.
